"I used to look up to America, because when i was young, they would lead to world, it is now time for America to lead again in global climate change."

Global Warming is a very touchy subject to many within the United States. It is actually divisive enough that it coincides with party lines. Democrats who say that global warming is real, of human causation, and that we should try to stop it, on one side; And Republicans who say that man-made global warming is a hoax, or not all the details are in. Whatever the case, why is it that AMERICA of all nations should deny this? Deny something that the entire world has accepted. Humans are causing global warming, and why does it take a chorus of voices from the rest of the world to actually make America begin it's slow march to hopefully fixing global warming? It is time for America to lead the world once again, not make America a nation who follows other nations.

Quite honestly, you're stereotyping the argument too much. It's not democrats versus republicans at all. There are democrats who say there is none, and republicans who say it exists.
Did you know that over 17,000 scientists signed a petition cautioning against global warming alarmism? Furthermore, are you aware that the earth's temperature, by fishy measurements, has gone up a mere one point in the last one hundred years? Are you also aware that this cycle has been happening as far back as they can tell? And would it surprise you to hear that in the 70's, there were a lot of people screaming about global COOLING?
Tell me who doesn't stereotype?
Also, did you know there are a LOT more that say those 17k are wrong? And even if it wasn't real, what makes it so wrong that we shouldn't try and stop it? we're going to be making new energy sources, less air pollution...etc. We are going to have to do this eventually once the oil reserves of the world collapse, why not do it now? We can make an uncomfortable transition now, or a painful transition later. It's our choice, what will we choose?
That's laughable. "even if it wasn't real, what makes it so wrong that we shouldn't try and stop it?" If it doesn't exist, there's nothing to stop.
I have no problem with being responsible with the environment. I have a problem being irresponsible with people's money on fake solutions to fake problems.
Yeah, increasing foreign oil dependence isn't a problem. increasing fuel prices not a problem either. Heck even pollution isn't a problem either. What I find most amusing is that Christians (generalizing again) are the main opposition to trying to fix global climate change. Is it your absolute disgust with scientists? God told humans to take care of the earth. How does destroying it help? What you sow is what you reap. We're basically sowing the seeds of our own destruction. What do you think we're gonna reap?
I'm serious just look up Global warming on Google. You'll find a lot about global warming. I'm also not entirely sure you get the intricacies of global climate change either.
Also, back then, during the natural cycles, we weren't killing of the natural defenses, the trees. Not to mention we're releasing carbon into the air from fossil fuels that hasn't been seen on earth for millennia. How exactly is that not bad? It may be moving slowly, but think about it, we're removing the natural sinks, and we're dumping far more CO2 and CH4 into the air exactly how is that being alarmist? You're arrogant. You think you are right and that there is no possibility that the other side is right. Well, then you are an idiot. Someone who can change their minds is brilliant, someone who can't is arrogant and naive.
You seem to like to argue that your opposition in debate is not intelligent, otherwise known as an idiot, and therefore they must be wrong, and you must be right.
"Yeah, increasing foreign oil dependence isn't a problem. increasing fuel prices not a problem either. Heck even pollution isn't a problem either."
Merely pointing to other, unrelated problems with the environment and using them to mock your opponent's point is very bad style. It also doesn't work.
God also said that "while the earth remains" the seasons of it will not change or cease. I find it interesting that you invoke the name of God and then choose to ignore His divinely inspired and written Book, both when it comes to climate change, and when it comes to evolution. I believe global warming is real, but I also realize it's minor, and inconsequential. If that makes me an idiot, well then, I guess there should be more idiots in the world.
So because I won't change my mind to agree with you, I'm arrogant and naive?
Actually... I was referring to your comments on your blog. about that latter part. On every single person who has a opposing view, you basically do exactly what I was doing, just a little more subtly. I just wanted to see how you would react.
Also, you are assuming that I believe in evolution aren't you?
But the problem is that you are basically picking and choosing what scientists say right now aren't you? You're not going to listen to me, and chances are vice-versa. In reality, I'm not saying I'm right I'm saying it's good to have an open mind.
Dude, it's amusing watching you say that, and then when I call you on it, you back off, saying "I was just seeing how you'd react. It was TEST!!!" Actually, I don't call people an idiot in any shape form or fashion, subtly or no, though I may have at one time. And I also don't tell them that simply because they won't change their minds, they're "naive."
I'm not assuming anything. I'm making a conclusion based upon the arguments you present. You presented yourself as an evolutionist, so I had no choice but to approach you as one. You can't argue a point and then get mad at me when I argue back, and claim that you don't REALLY believe what you said.
I've been listening to you, ts31. I have yet to see a logical argument, though. I see only diversions, question-begging, ad hominem attacks, straw men, etc. You've broken just about every rule of debate in a matter of less than a dozen in reply to me. I don't claim to be perfect, but you saying "NO, YOU ARE!!!" isn't going to change the facts.
You realize that you are one of those people that there really is no point in debating with. I've read a bunch of your articles and comments, and even when someone makes a point you ignore it. Maybe that was a long time ago, maybe I'm wrong. But prove it to me. Don't pretend to know everything, because you don't. Ask questions, don't just talk what you don't know. For instance your blog about the brain, you didn't understand the science behind it, which I still don't think you understand. But the thing is, is that any time someone says something otherwise, you ignore it. In reality, I don't normally do this. It's just that you really don't seem to understand how you are. You've never looked at yourself through a mirror.
